Description of the matter:
Commingling of cargoes Propane and Butane on board the vessel during loading.
Our part:
Investigation of the circumstances, fixing cargo quantity/quality inside the tanks, protecting Owners interests.
Activity:
The surveyor attended the vessel and thoroughly examined cargo lines/system, checked valves in operation, drew samples, and gave recommendations to the Master.
Result:
The surveyor investigated the issue, fixed that the cargo was loaded on board in such condition, recommended Master to clause Bills of Lading or at least take a LOI from the Charterers.
