Description of the matter:
Collision between tanker and general cargo vessel within the Russian inner waterways.
Our part:
Investigation of the accident cause and assessment of the received damages of both vessels with further repair supervision at the shipyards.
Activity:
The surveyor was sent on board in order to collect all relevant data and documents. The interview of the crewmembers was conducted. Joint inspections with the third parties’ representatives at shipyards with further calculation of the loss amount were performed.
Result:
The investigation currently is in progress.
